During my recent transit in Venice, I stayed at the Ca Del Gambero hotel and found it to be conveniently located. The hotel is just 1.9 km away from Venezia Santa Lucia, making it easily accessible for travelers like myself. it is only 15 km away from Marco Polo, which is very convenient for those needing to catch an early flight or continue their journey.

There were times when the key stopped working for me, especially when it was dark and raining outside.

I couldn't have asked for a better value for my money! The room at Ca Del Gambero was clean, comfortable, and had the most amazing view of gondolas passing by. The location was perfect, right in the heart of everything, and the staff was friendly and helpful throughout my stay.

The food for breakfast could have been better.

Loved the free WiFi, perfect for binge-watching La Fenice Theatre performances while gorging on room service in the spacious, air-conditioned apartment with stunning sea views.

Ah, but of course, no kitchen with dining area! Who needs to eat when you have such a splendid view?

The location was absolutely mind-blowing with the best view from the window that I could ever imagine! Watching gondolas drift by with singers serenading us was jaw-dropping. The studio itself was so Venetian style, it felt like home. It was super clean, modern, and had all the amenities we needed, including wi-fi, an electric kettle, and cookware/kitchen utensils. The convenience of being on the ground level next to a canal was unbeatable, and we even had the privilege of getting on our own gondola just steps away from the door. The central location made it easy to walk to all the major sites, and we were thrilled to discover a Michelin star restaurant on the same street. a highly recommended stay for a truly exceptional Venetian experience.

The apartment was beautiful and modern, with spacious rooms and a great view of the canals. It was a fantastic location, very close to all the main attractions, and there was even a Michelin-starred restaurant nearby. the bathroom and kitchen facilities were excellent and everything was brand new and super clean. the staff were friendly and provided a helpful map with the best places to visit.

The temporary air conditioning unit in the apartment caused some issues. It frequently flooded the floor and didn't effectively cool the main room.

Great location, within walking distance to major attractions. Clean apartment with excellent shower and comfortable bed. Helpful staff provided local information and walking routes. Lovely view of canals with gondolas passing by. Convenient access to supermarket and nearby restaurants.

The location was perfect, with a gondola station right by our window. the apartment was spacious, clean, and had a fully fitted kitchen. the management was excellent, with Iva guiding us from the water bus station to the apartment. the bathroom had ample towels and great hot water. the bed was comfortable with extra pillows, and we appreciated the anti-mosquito coils. the living area was also spacious, and the high-speed WiFi was superb.

Felt looked after, no complaints.

We had an amazing stay at this wonderful apartment. Alvise, our host at Ca Del Gambero, met us at the Rialto water bus stop and provided excellent service throughout our visit. the apartment's ideal location, just off Fabbri, allowed us to easily explore popular attractions like the Rialto Bridge, San Marco square, and the Doges Palace within a 5-minute walk. the apartment itself was spacious, clean, and modern, with a full kitchen and great wifi. We also loved the quietness of the location, despite the gondola stop right outside.

Our experience and the service from Alvise were beyond exceptional. Cons: Nothing that I didn't like.
